Earlier this month Apple unveiled their new redesigned entry-level notebook - the new MacBook. The new Apple MacBook has a polycarbonate unibody design for extra durability, glass multi-touch trackpad, a 13.3-inch LED backlit display, 2GB RAM, 2.26Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, 250GB HDD, 8x Super Drive and a built-in 7 hour battery. Apple sells the new MacBook for $999.
Macworld has tested the new MacBook and published this review.
Quote from the review: "he new MacBook's slightly faster processor speed and improved RAM speed make this MacBook a little bit faster than its predecessor, as you might expect. The MacBook benefits nicely from its unibody face-lift: it's lighter and more attractive, and it performs better than the model that came before it. You can think of it as a MacBook Pro minus the FireWire port and SD card slot, for $200 less."
Read the full MacBook review on MacWorld. The new MacBook is available on the Apple Store. On Amazon you save $5 and you get the MacBook in a frustation-free packaging.
