As long as a gaming notebook can be carried to and from the LAN party without giving you a hernia, gamers are usually OK with the size of the machine. You have to make compromises with any gaming notebook; they are expensive, loud and lack power compared to gaming desktops. However, for certain users the gaming notebook is the way to go.
