Early Black Friday Deals From Walmart Smartly Countered By Amazon

Walmart, Sears, Kmart and others had their early Black Friday sales yesterday in-stores and online.
We have covered the early Walmart Black Friday deals in detail and they feature some hot deals.
As reported Amazon had very similar deals in their One Day Electronics Sale yesterday. Every 2 hours Amazon featured a new deal through their gold box. Twice you had the chance to get a Xbox 360 Arcade with $100 promotional code. Walmart promoted the same deal the whole week.
Besides the Xbox 360 deal, Amazon offered hot HDTV deals. The Sony and Toshiba TVs that have been on sale are still leading the Movers & Shakers list.
The 2 hour deal schedule could even be seen as a way to keep you away from the mall and stay at home all day waiting for the next Amazon deal.
The impression I got is that Amazon is acting from a very strong position and can just counter offers Walmart and others promote for early Black Friday sales and of course also for Black Friday itself.
Amazon has not even started doing their specific Black Friday promotions like they did last year.
To benefit from In-Store and online offers you actually need to be online when you are at Walmart or other stores to see if there is not a better deal right now on Amazon. I suggest getting a Netbook with 3G card, equipped with that you are the ultimate Black Friday shopping warrior.
The early Black Friday sales are definitely a lot more exciting than they were last year. Additionally there is a little price war between Walmart and Amazon going on right now that already gets you $10 deals on hot per-order DVD movies.
We continue our comprehensive coverage of Black Friday deals. Next weekend should bring even better deals than we have seen this weekend as we move closer to the actual Black Friday.
