As reported the company will soon be making an official announcement for their new notebook deal. This deal will start off on Wednesday, and run through at least Black Friday, if not the entire holiday season. During this time, customers will be able to purchase a full-size Acer Aspire notebook for $250.

The exact model won't be known until tomorrow, but it's expected to have a 2.2 GHz Celeron processor, 2 GB of RAM, a 160 GB hard drive, and Windows 7. Considering the price, it will likely be either an 11.6" or 12" machine. If you've been considering a new netbook, you might want to look into this Aspire deal instead. The price is lower than most netbooks out there, and you'll get more computing bang for your buck.
