Sony introduces a smaller model of their LocationFreeTV in Japan and guess what the LF-X5 is already available in the USA for a while. One of the rare examples that Sony launches a product outside of Japan first.

The new Sony LF-X5 has a smaller screen with 7 inch compared to the Sony LocationFree TV LF-X1 model. The LF-X5 measures 20.6 cm × 11.1 cm × 2.6 cm. The Sony wireless TV supports 802.11a (5GHz) and 802.11b/g. The display has 800 x 480 pixels. As the other LocationFree models the LF-X5 supports besides watching wirelessly TV also Web browsing and emailing. The price is still open.
The Sony LF-X5 LocationFreeTV hits the japanese market on March 10th.
