Sony announced the US launch date and pricing of the Sony PSP on Thursday. Now Sony made statements that the European Sony PSP launch will not be in March.
Sony does not name a date, but says the European Sony PSP launch date should be still in the first half of 2005.
In the first news story on Reuters about the PSP launch delay, there is still talk about maybe missing the launch date. In a Bloomberg story it is already a definite delay. Circulated delay reasons are multi-language overhead in Europe and a chip shortage.
Amazon UK still lists the Sony PSP with shipping date of March 18th. Guess they should change that.
Best bet is to get a Sony PSP now straight from Japan for instance at AudioCubes for $285.00.
