Saab is developing a small breathalyzer that is integrated in the car key preventing drunk drivers start their car.
When the car open button is pushed the breathalyzer is switched on and the driver has to blow into the mouth piece to enable the car to be started. If a red light comes on driver has to much alcohol in his or her breath and the car will not start - bummer!
The Saab Alcokey prototype is stil 10cm long and 4cm wide and not integrated in the key itself. The Alcokey is currently trailed in Sweden.
