3GSM: Trolltech Linux Qtopia Phones Coming

Trolltech, maker of the QTopia Linux platform for embedded devices, announces at the 3GSM Congress that over 50 electronics vendors developing Linux based devices with Trolltech software.
Of these companies, more than 20 are mobile phone designers and manufacturers (e.g.: including Samsung Electronics, Infineon, Philips and Motorola), signaling a surge in the market for handsets built on the open source Linux operating system. More details in Trolltech press-release.
Trolltech's QTopia already runs on the Sharp Zaurus SL-C3000 and on the new Archos PMA430.
