Motorola is just in love with its 4 letter mobile phone names. In a Reuters interview the Motorola CEO Zander reveals the name of the much hyped Motorola iTunes phone: ROKR.
RAZR, BLZR (Black RAZR), SLVR, PEBL and now ROKR. I mean I really love those names. They all fit to the individual phone and sound great. Only danger is that such fun naming convention burn-out quickly. But for now they are cool.
Not much details are yet known about Motorola's iTunes compatible Phone ROKR, besides something negative. The Apple deal only allows ROKR phone users store a limited number of songs to protect the iPod market. This could give the announced Sony Ericsson Walkman phone an edge over the ROKR.
More details in this Reuters story.
