We reported first time about the Computer Adidas shoe in May 2004.

Now on March 18th the Adidas 1 should hit stores in the USA for about $250. (see USA Today). The Adidas_1 is the first shoe that uses a sensor, a processor and a cable system to automatically adjust the cushioning of the shoe. The sensor under the heel measures compression and decides whether the shoe is too soft or firm. The batteries hold for 100 hours. Yes this shoe has batteries.

Adidas has a cool "adaptive" flash site for the Adidas 1.
