Super Bowl 2010

It strikes me as odd each year that on any other game or TV show most of us want to skip the commercials with our DVR's, but during the Super Bowl, we crowd around the set and actually want to see commercials. My personal favorite commercial was the Doritos with the dog and the shock collar.

The GoDaddy ads were all fine and good, but certainly weren't my favorites. Don't get me wrong the hot blond massaging Danica was interesting and all but, I like the funny ads better. Despite the fact that I didn’t like the GoDaddy ads and critics felt the same way, GoDaddy says that its Super Bowl ads were the most successful it has ever run.

Web traffic to the GoDaddy site to see the rest of the ads spiked and the ads generated more traffic this year than any other Super bowl campaign the firm has ran for the last six years. The company set a record for new customers signed and sat a sales record as well. I guess that is really the point of the ads.
