Designed by Zimbabwean inventor Mike Puzey, the Pump-a-bike was under development for 8 years. The Human powered Hydrofoil is now available in South Africa.
The Pump A Bike can go as fast as 20mph - Wau. Riders need to jump up and down to move it. It weighs 14kg and floats by itself when not on it.
