Sony HDR-HC1: World's Smallest HDV Camcorder

Sony not only announced the Playstation 3, but also the HDR-HC1 small HDV Camcorder.
The Sony HDR-HC1 is the world's smallest and lightest high definition consumer camcorder with full HD resolution based on HDV 1080i.
The Sony HDV Camcorder weighs 1.5 pounds, Features include 2.7 inch wide hybrid, touch-panel LCD screen, Carl Zeiss Lens, 10X optical and 120X digital zoom and Super NightShot Plus Infrared System. The battery holds 90 min.
The HDR-HC1 Handycam camcorder will be available in July for about $2,000.

Amazon.com is taking pre-orders for the HDR-HC1, shipping July 31st.
Sony introduced the Sony HDR-FX1 HDV Camcorder last year, which is much bigger than this compact HDV camcorder.
