New Sony PCS-G50 Video Conference System

Sony announces the PCS-G50 video conference system in Japan.
The new Sony PCS-G50 supports high resolution with the 4CIF standard (704x576px). The IP based video conference system supports data rates up to 4096kbps.
Supported video conference formats include: H.320, H.323, H.261, H.263, H.263+, H.263++ and H.264.
The PCS-G50 can record the video conference automatically on a Sony Memory Stick.
The Sony PCS-G50 goes on sale July 1st for 745,500 Yen (~6,900USD).
