So finally Kenwood seems to have come up with an original mp3 player that is more interesting.
We reported about their flash mp3 player that they introduced earlier this year that was just not up-to-date.
The new Kenwood HD20GA7 features a 20GB hard-drive and a 2.2 type QVGA color display.
Again Kenwood talks about the outstanding sound quality this player is supposed to have with it's digital amplifier. Kenwood proclaims that it is the world's first portable HDD mp3 player with such a digital amplifier. I really look forward to a review of the HD20GA7 that analyses the audio quality claim.
The Kenwood HD20GA7 plays MP3 and WMA (supports DRM). Looks like there is no photo player available. Battery life is 24 hours. The new Kenwood measures 61×104×17mm and weighs 140g. It is shipping now in Japan. Pricing information not available.
More details in Kenwood press-release (Japanese). First seen on AkihabaraNews.
