Fast Carbon-based Industrial Robot by KUKA

German robot specialist KUKA GmbH offers an palletizing robot, which is supposedly the world's fastest.
The secret is the carbon material the robot arm consists of. This makes the arm very light and it can be moved faster than a robot arm made from metal. The KR 40 PA has a fully integrated energy supply system and operates on 4 four axes.
