Nyko announced the video player add-on for Apple iPods at the CES 2005 in January. iPodLounge has published several details about the Nyko video player that is supposed to ship in November.

The Nyko Movie Player is like a docking station for the iPod with a 3.6 inch, 4:3 LCD screen (640x480px, 64k colors). It is supposed to work with 3G, 4G, mini or photo iPods. Apparently the Nyko device also supports recording from a video source and has a TV-Out as well.
The price might be around $200. If Apple is not coming out with a portable video player, the Nyko Movie Player could have nice sales. The install base of iPods is just huge.
