Companies, switch of all USB ports on your PCs, Pod slurping is apparently thriving.
The analysts at Gartner warn companies from iPods being used by data thieves. For example a thieve disguised as a janitor could walk into a company wearing an iPod grooving to the music. When nobody is looking he connects the iPod to a PC and
copies all the files he can get onto the portable device. Definitly dangerous, but why give it a funny name - Pod slurping.
In many places you anyway might not get through the metal detectors with an iPod anyway.
