In our first reports about the cool iRiver U10 portable media player, it was not clear how fast iRiver will bring the new player out to the international market.

The iRiver U10 is supposed to be already in stores in Japan this week. The Register reports today that iRiver will roll out the U10 in the UK in August. The 1GB version will sell for £179 (~$312). The docking station is extra (not cool) and sells for £49 ($85).
No word yet when the iRiver U10 will ship in the United States.

The iRiver U10 supports MP4 video, Macromedia Flash, MP3, WMA, OGG and ASF music playback. The U10 has a 2.2" QVGA (320x240) TFT screen. Besides the nice look the iRiver U10 also features FM-Tuner, Voice recorder, Photo album, txt viewer, direct encoding and games. The iRiver U10 will come in 512MB and 1GB storage configurations.
