Bulgarian Media Systems announces the Personal Securer prototype.
The interestingly shaped Personal Securer has GSM and a 20 channel GPS receiver inside. The GSM/GPRS interface allows to exchange location data with a central monitoring system. Additionally the device also has a panic button that activates the built-in 90 Db Alarm siren.
The GPS guardian device can be charged via USB.

The Personal Securer appeared first in 2004. The company seems to have made some progress as there are now real photos of the device.
