The new Sony mp3 players are a big hit in Japan. Reuters reported this week that the Sony NW-E series outsold the iPod shuffle in the last 2 month.
Silicon Pop Culture has a review of the Sony NW-E507 MP3 player.
Quote:
"As one of the first new portable digital audio devices from Sony designed using the company’s MP3-friendly mantra, the NW-E507 does a great job. It’s an excellent piece of hardware that’s somewhat hobbled by transfer software. As a supposed competitor to Apple’s iPod
shuffle, it stands out for its functionality, long battery life, and style.
