Gigabyte Communications, a subsidary of Gigabyte the PC motherboard maker is supposed to introduce their first mobile phone tomorrow.

The Gigabyte GX-5 phone (photo) and a PDA phone are supposed to be introduced reports DigiTimes. I am not sure if the PDA phone is going to be the Einstein that Gigabyte showed at the Computex 2005 show.

Gigabyte announced Gigabyte Communications at the CeBit in February.


It is interesting to see that companies still get into the crowed mobile phone arena. Others, like Siemens already dropped out. Sendo went out of business recently.
