The most exciting announcement from yesterday in regards to Motorola is the Motorola Q QWERTY smartphone. It is thin to say the least about this stunner.

According to Motorola the Q is the world’s thinnest, lightest QWERTY phone. The Motorola smartphone runs Windows Mobile and is all about email, surfing and entertainment. A 1.3MP camera is also in the thin smartphone.
The Moto Q is expected to be available in Q1 2006. (still over 6 month wait for this one). More details in this Motorola press-release.
Looks like Motoral marketing ran out of 4 letter phone names. I do not know why. They could have called the Q QWTY :).
