Creative introduces in Asia a new small flash media player called MuVo Vidz.
When I first saw it, I knew I know this player already. It is the Korean Sorell SF3500. DAPReview confirms this in their MuVo Vidz story.
I think it is kind of dangerous for Creative to go out and OEM players. It diminishes the perception of them
being able to innovate. The MuVo Vidz might not even make it to the USA. Rio Audio also released OEMed players in Asia. We reported also about Kenwood, which sold or still sells a OEMed Creative MP3 player in Asia.
Back to the Creative MuVo Vidz: It features a 1.18 inch color OLED display and measures 32 x 66 x 15.7 mm and weighs 33g. Other features include FM-Tuner, Voice Recorder and USB 2.0. The MuVo Vidz plays MP4 video, MP3 audio and WMA audio. It will sell in 512MB and 1GB configurations.
More details on the Asian Creative site. First seen on HardwareZone.
