Samsung's 80 inch Plasma HDTV is not the world's largest Plasma TV. The current Samsung and LG record
Plasma TVs have a size of 102 inch. But the Samsung 80 Plasma HDTV is the largest Plasma TV that is now for sale.
Samsung started selling its 80 inch PDP HDTV in Korea for 130 million won. That is a cool 125,000USD. Samsung plans to release the monster Plasma TV in the US market in December and in Europe next year.
I have to say the price jump between a 50 inch Plasma and a 80 inch one is somewhat unreasonable, don't you agree? The additional 30 inch cost about $120,000. The first 50 inch go for about $5,000 max...
