Palm announced their new entry-level PDA Z22 officially and offers it online now.
First photos and specifications of the Z22 surfaced already in September.
The Palm Z22 (note, Palm dropped the sub-brand Zire) features a color display (160x160px) and sells for $99 at the Palm Store.
The specs are not really impressive, but this is also not the point of this PDA. Palm wants to attacked the $1 billion per year paper-planner market with the Palm Z22. The Z22 has hands-down more CPU power than paper.
BargainPDA already got their hands on a Palm Z22 and
published a review of the Z22. The verdict is that the Palm Z22 is a nice entry-level PDA. See als the new Palm TX wi-fi PDA.
