Sony introduces in Japan a new bookshelf stereo in it's Net Juke line dubbed NAS-M7HD.

The new Sony Net Juke has an integrated 40GB hard-drive to store music. The MD stereo set also features a 4.1 inch color LCD display. Users can record music to MDs from the hard-drive and vice versa. And that is not all. The NAS-M7HD has also a Ethernet interface and a USB interface. Music can be stored directly via USB on Sony A-Series Walkman without the use of a PC. Apparently the NAS-M7HD also has a memory stick duo slot to transfer music for the Sony PSP.

Users can also directly purchase CDs from the Net Juke via a music store. The color display is showing the album covers when browsing the store.
The Sony Net Juke NAS-M7HD will start selling in November in Japan. No pricing set yet.
