ViewSonic introduced 2ms LCD monitor and claimed it to to be the world's fastest LCD monitor. The fame only apparently held for a couple days, as now BenQ also announces a 2ms LCD monitor.
The ViewSonic VX922 is a 19 inch monitor with 2ms response time that will be available in China first.
The BenQ FP93G X is also a 19 inch monitor and utilizes the BenQ Advanced Motion Accelerator (AMA) technology to reach 2ms response times.
The BenQ FP93G X will start selling next month in Asia.
Not sure if a 2ms response time is a reason to go out and buy a new LCD monitor when it starts selling near you. It just shows that response time is soon no distinguishing issue anymore in the next couple of years. I do not have an issue with response time even today.
