As reported yesterday Sprint Nextel launched a over-the-air music download service.

Laptop Magazine already had access to the sprint music store and published a review.

Quote:
"Sprint has gained the upper hand in the wireless music war by being the first U.S. carrier to deliver full song downloads over the air to cell phones. But is it worth $2.50 a track?
Powered by Groove Mobile, the Sprint Music Store offers hundreds of thousands of tracks from most of the major music labels, including EMI, Sony BMG, Warner Music Group, and Universal Music Group.
The song downloaded to your phone uses the AAC+ format and each track is approximately 1MB or less in size. "
Read the full review. Direct downloading songs on the go is definitly cool. Beats the iTunes ROKR.
