Sony Linear PCM Recorder PCM-D1 with 4GB Flash Memory

Sony announces in Japan a professional portable audio recorder.
The Sony Linear PCM recorder PCM-D1 is design to capture nature sounds or musical instrument performance.
The sounds captured by the highly sensitive microphone are stored digital without compression with a sampling frequency of 96kHz and 24bit resolution.
Users can transfer audio from the 4GB internal storage via USB to a PC or Apple computer.
Sony will start selling the PCM-D1 on November 21st in Japan. No pricing set yet.
