I was waiting for a real live photo to appear of the Korean Albert Einstein Hubo robot we reported about last week.

The Albert Hubo was demonstrated at the IT Exhibition held at the APEC 2005 summit meeting hall in Busan, Korea. In the photo Albert Hubo is shown shaking hands with visitors. Even the posture of the robot makes him look old, not just the head. They should give him a walking stick.

The robot looks weirder than I imagined. There are apparently 30 motors in the Albert Einstein head that simulate facial expressions. A hi-res photo of Albert Hubo can be seon on Korean site Dong-A Ilbo. USA Today also has coverage of the Albert Hubo robot. They write that the Albert Einstein robot was the star of the APEC show.
