Korean DAEGEON Technology offers as a pen that reads books to kids.
This is perfect for parents who do not have time (they should though) to read books to their kids.
The 'magic pen' has a camera based scanner built-in that reads codes hidden in the book. It matches the code with the data on the corresponding
cartridge and reads the text or triggers sounds.
Many photos are available on Korean AVing. See also the Daegeon site.
