IGN reasons to wait for the Sony Playstation 3 include: Blu-Ray support, 1080p support and that the Xbox 360 does not have a killer-app yet. My favorite reason is that you still can pre-order the Sony PS3.

Nielsen did a survey under active gamers. The 50% of the surveyed gamers said that they will wait until the Sony PS3 is on the market to make their next generation console decision. More details on that on Gamespot.
