In September I tested the Million Dollar Homepage by buying some pixel blocks there for our I4U Gadget Model Gallery. Back in September Alex Tew, the British student behind the Million Dollar Homepage sold pixels for $180,500. Until today he sold 739,400 pixels. I think he will still sell out his pixel page this year and make the $1 million.

His Alexa ranking and therefore his traffic has fallen form 679 to 1,698, but that seems to be still enough to drive more pixel buyers on his page.

Since I wrote the Million Dollar Homepage review in September, I got bombarded with emails from people who created copy-cat pixel sites. None of them as far as I know could copy the success though. In my opinion, this idea only works one time and cannot be copied.
Even the WSJ wrote recently about the Million Dollar Homepage.
