Yesterday, the world's largest trade show focusing on robotics got underway in Japan.
One of the robots shown are these Kimono wearing Eco-Robots from Japanese robot maker iXs Research Corp.
They perform traditional dances and can be had for about $1,000. See large photo on Mainichi.
Several reports from the robot exhibit have appeared. Most robots I saw so far are not new though.
The IREX is held every other year since 1973.
About 152 companies and 40 organizations in and outside Japan show all kinds of robots.
One section on this years robot trade show is focused on service robots.
