Silicon Valley gets a new geeky tourist attraction. It is the garage in which David Packard and William Hewlett launched Hewlett-Packard (HP) in 1939.
Garages in Silicon Valley are the romantic birth places of start-ups. One reason for this might be the HP Garage story.
The HP Garage is located at 367 Addison Avenue in Palo Alto and is now a California Historic Landmark.
There are some exclusive tours this weekend. They can be booked online and last for 30 min. Tour information can be found here.
The tours are already sold out though.
More details about the HP Garage. See also this video report on NBC 11.
