The Apple iPod nano is the new role model for MP3 player for OEM companies in Asia.
Today I received an offer to buy some of the MoonBow Technology super slim mp3 players.
The iPod nano look-alike measures 90x40x7mm, which are very similar to the
measurements of the iPod nano.
This iPod nano knock-off features a 1.5 inch color OLED display, FM-Tuner, WMA, MP3 audio playback, AMV video playback, Voice recorder, photo viewer and a Tetris game.
No word on how much flash memory it can have. Even if a company would decide to buy and market those
players, they will have an issue getting reasonable priced flash memory to beat Apples prices on 2GB and 4GB iPod nano players.
So what will happen is that some 256MB, 512MB and 1GB iPod nano knock-offs will be available in the next month.
More details about the MoonBow mp3 player on the EC21 site.
Crush Gear reported a while ago about another iPod nano copy cat.
