Traffic of the Million Dollar Homepage surged in the last couple of days due to mainstream coverage (e.g.: Reuters, ABC News, CNN) of the most expensive page on the web.
Update:
Alex Tew Auctions Off the Last 1,000 Pixels
Last Pixels Auction Ended
21 year old student Alex Tew has made it. Today he will sell the last 1,000 pixels to reach his $1 million in revenue from is Million Dollar Homepage.
As reported I bought 200 pixels back in September. The investment of $200 has long paid of for itself. Alone in the last 2 days I4U received 1,500 clicks from the Million Dollar Homepage.
What amazes me as that the two hundred pixels I bought are not standing out anymore. Considering the Alexa rank
of 127 (Dec. 30th) it becomes understandable. Alex Tew says that he reached about 600,000 unique visitors on Friday.
Alex Tew posted at his blog that he is going to sell the last 1000 pixels today.
