CES 2006: Motorola ROKR E2 and iRadio

Motorola announced serveral new products and services for CES 2006. One of them is the new ROKR E2 music mobile phone.
The ROKR E2 runs on Linux and features a multi-format MP3 player. Music can be uploaded via USB 2.0 onto SD card based memory (up to 2GB). The E2 features an FM Tuner and a bit better looks than the ROKR E1 currently on the market.
The ROKR E2 is not a Apple iTunes phone like the E1 is. The E2 supports the new Motorola iRadio service. iRadio offers 435 radio channels through the cellular network. iRadio has the potential to compete with satellite radio providers XM and Sirius.
The Motorola ROKR E2 is expected to be available in the first half of 2006. No pricing available.
