So no big surprises from the Google Keynote, but it has been apparently great show featuring Robin Williams.

Robin Williams must have been hilarious, according to the Engadget live coverage of the event. CNET has a 9 min. video of the Google keynote.

Larry Page announced the Google Video Store, the first open video marketplace enabling consumers to buy and rent a wide range of video content from a major television network, a professional sports league, cable programmers, independent producers and film makers.
CBS and the NBA will offer content from the beginning. Music videos will also be available as cartoons, independent films and Getty Images' Archive Films Collection.

There is no release date for the Google Video Store. It will come soon at the current Google video site. He also announced Google Pack, which is a free bundle of software tools you can download here. Nothing new though included in it.

Larry Page used the occasion to talk about the MIT $100 Laptop and the need to bring the Internet to everybody. He also talked about the need for standards in the data cable and power adapter area.
