Sweden plans to be Oil Independent by 2020.
Sweden wants to switch to renewable energy sources without building new nuclear power plants. An interdisciplinary committee is supposed to have a first report in a couple of month on how the 9 million Swedes get off oil within 15 years.
Based on 2003 numbers, 26% of Sweden's energy consume already comes from renewable sources.
