Nokia and Sony Ericsson partner to make their DVB-H digital mobile TV technology work together.
The fronts between Korean favored DMB and DVB-H are forming further. Sony Ericsson and Nokia today at the 3GSM announced to co-operate to achieve interoperability in DVB-H enabled devices and secure multi-vendor mobile TV services and pilots from 2006 onwards.
Sony Ericsson and Nokia favor DVB-H as the technology for terrestrial digital broadcast mobile TV. As basis the Open Air Interface implementation guidelines are used (details).
