Sony HDR-HC3 is World's Smallest and Lightest HDV 1080i Camcorder

Sony announced the HDR-HC3 HDV 1080i Handycam camcorder, which is the world's smallest and lightest HDV camcorder.
The HDR-HC3 model features a professional-quality Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* lens and Sony's new ClearVid CMOS Sensor technology. It connects via a HDMI port to your HD ready TV.
The HDR-HC3 camcorder can take 4MP still images that get stored on a Memory Stick PRO Duo.
It has a dual record function that allows you to shoot video and simultaneously capture 2.3 megapixel stills (16:9) in high definition mode and 1.7-megapixel stills (4:3) in standard definition mode.
Other Sony HDR-HC3 features include a 2.7 inch screen, Super SteadyShot image stabilization, slow motion video capture, built-in microphone, built-in flash and a lithium battery giving 90min. recording time.
The HDR-HC3 Handycam camcorder will be available in April for about $1,700.
