Word about the Sony DSC-W100 and DSC-70 already leaked last week. Now Sony has officially announced these new members of their Cyber-shot W-series.
The 8MP Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W100 features 2.5 inch LCD screen, Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 3x optical zoom lens, MPEG1 movie recording, up to IS0 1250 setting and 64MB of internal memory.
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W100 camera ships in April for about $350.
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-70 is a 7MP digital camera featuring also a 2.5 inch screen and Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 3x optical zoom lens. The Sony DSC-W70 model will also be available in April for about $300.
