I am always surprised that Rinspeed is actually able to make their amazing designs into a real car you can see and drive. This time they show the Rinspeed zaZen with revolutionary lighting technique and transparent hardtop at the Geneva Motor Show taking place this week.
Besides its stunning looks the zaZen sports a hardtop made from transparent Makrolon polycarbonate from Bayer MaterialScience.
Other highlights of the zaZen are holographic brake lamps, healing polyurethane clear coat covering Swarovski crystals finished paint, Swarovski cyrstal trimming around the lamps and Technogel seats.
The Rinspeed zaZen is powered by a 355 hp 6-cylinder boxer engine from the Porsche 997 Carrera S.
The Rinspeed zaZen was designed by
Swiss designer, Frank M. Rinderknecht.
More details and lots of zaZen photos on the Rinspeed site.
