The Celestron SkyScout is a cool handheld gadget that uses GPS technology instantly identify thousands of stars, planets, constellations and more.
We met Celestron actually at the CES 2006. Watch the Video to get a short introduction to the SkyScout.
The Celestron SkyScout has information about 6,000 Stars, 1,500 Double & Variable Stars and all 88 constellations.
SkyScout has a LCD display, USB port and a SD Card slot.
Amazon.com and other stores offer the SkyScout for $399.99 for pre-order. Amazon lists a shipping date of May 29th.
On the Celestron site it says the SkyScout is already shipping in April.
