You sure have heard that an anonymous OS genius (narf) has created a solution to dual boot Microsoft Windows and OS X on the new Intel based Apple MacBook Pro. He won the donated $13,854 price money for doing it.
Development of the legal dual boot hack is moving fast forward. Besides MacBook Pro and iMac models also Intel Mac mini are able to run Windows XP.
The only major issue is driver support, but Windows runs pretty solid on the Apple hardware.
The online Mac video show MacBreak hosted by an impressed Leo Laporte has a nice video report showing Windows XP running on a Mac mini and discusses how the installation works.
Based on the activity and hype around Windows on Mac, Apple really should consider giving consumers the option and giving Dell a hard time.
See the Mac Break video report via iTunes.
Details on how to run Windows XP on Intel based Apple computers can be found here.
