DataViz Roadsync 2 enables non-Windows mobile devices to use the new Microsoft Exchange 2003 SP2 push email feature.
Microsoft announced the direct push email feature at the 3GSM show in February. If you have a Windows Mobile 5.0 device you are all set and can use push email.
Microsoft's value proposition for using Exchange for direct email push is clear - no additional cost if your company is already running Exchange 2003.
DataViz developed based on Exchange ActiveSync technology licensed directly from Microsoft RoadSync. RoadSync provides secure, wireless and direct push synchronization of corporate Outlook E-mail, Calendar, Contacts & Attachments.
Currently Symbian UIQ, Palm OS, Java MIDP 2 and Symbiona Series 80 are supported. S60 is coming soon. The feature support differs on the different mobile OSes.
There is a free 30-day trial of RoadSync 2 available. Via Heise (German).
