SplitFish GameWare added another unique gaming accessory to its line-up. The GlideFX is a controller for the Sony Playstation features separate left and right hand grips.
Instead of the right stick the GlideFX features a trackball. Of course this split-design reminds strongly of the Nintendo Revolution controller. What is missing of course is the 3D motion sensor.
SplitFish says it the GlideFX will be available for the Sony PS2 and later for the PS3 as well. They will introduce the GlideFX controller at the E3 2006.
We reviewed the Splitfish 3D adapter for the Sony Playstation 2 last year.
SplitFish also offers the DualFX controller which has Laser Guidance for shooter games.
More details on the SplitFish site.
