Sony announces three new digital recorder in Japan.

The Sony RDZ-D97A (photo) and RDZ-D87 feature a 400GB HDD, while the RDZ-D77A comes with a 250GB hard-drive. These new recorder are equipped with a Hi-Vision tuner to record HD broadcasts.
The Sony RDZ-D97A and RDZ-D77A support video recording onto Memory sticks for playback on the Sony PSP. Another interesting feature is the mobile phone interface to remotly program the digital recorder.
The new Sony digital recorder will hit the Japanese market on May 19th.
